Drummond Group Certifies ModuleMD’s EHR Suite for Medicare and Medicaid Programs

ModuleMD achieves 2015 Edition Certification under ONC-Health IT.

Grand Blanc, MI(December, 2017)–ModuleMD has achieved 2015 Edition Certification under the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology(ONC-Health IT). This certification provides all of ModuleMD’s customers with the technology needed to attest for Advancing Care Information (ACI) for the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS)under Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA) as well as Meaningful Use Stage 3 for Medicaid. Testing and Certification was performed by Drummond GroupLLC, an Authorized Certification Body (ACB) that has been empowered to test software for compliance with the requirements of the federal government’s program. The stamp of approval designates that the software offers the functionality that enables eligible providers to meet requirements, qualifying these organizations to receive payments under the ongoing EHR adoption program.

The certification awarded to ModuleMD today marks the successful completion of testing of all our modules under the 2015 Edition Health IT Certification and includes the features and support needed for ACI under MIPS and MACRA” says Lloyd Williams, ModuleMD’s Chief Operating Officer.

To earn the certification, ModuleMD WISE™was tested to be in accordance with applicable standards and certification criteria put forth by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

ModuleMD WISE, which met the requirements for 2015 Edition Health IT Module Certification,is an integrated suite of SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) applications including Practice Management, Electronic Health Records, Revenue Management, Patient Portal, ePrescribe, and more. ModuleMD WISE was certified for all criteria enabling eligible clinicians to meet compliance under EHR Incentive Programs including MIPS and other Quality Payment Programs (QPP) and Meaningful Use Stage 3.

This Health IT Module is 2015 Edition compliant and has been certified by an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
