Grand Blanc, MI, February 04, 2014 --(PR.com)-- ModuleMD, LLC is pleased to announce that ModuleMD WISE™ EHR and Practice Management Version 8.0.0 is 2014 Edition compliant and has been certified as an Ambulatory Complete EHR for Meaningful Use Stage 2 on January 23, 2014, by InfoGard Laboratories, (http://www.infogard.com/), an ONC – ACB certification body, in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services - Certificate # IG-2353-13-0038. ModuleMD WISE™ is a Complete EHR for ambulatory environments and is capable of enabling eligible providers to meet the Stage 1 and 2 Meaningful Use measures required to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

ModuleMD is proud to be one of the first Michigan-based company to be certified as an Ambulatory Complete EHR for Meaningful Use Stage 2, which is based on more rigorous certification testing criteria. ModuleMD provides a comprehensive and cohesive EHR solution in one fully integrated system for physician practices - no matter the size. ModuleMD WISE™ caters to the clinical, operational and financial performance needs of a physician’s practice or practice groups. “Our focus is simple - it’s always been about solutions, not only software. Unlike many EHR and Practice Management software companies, ModuleMD offers value added services that fortify our solutions,” states Lloyd Williams, COO for ModuleMD. For ModuleMD, the purpose of innovation is providing a complete package of solutions to meet the continuous challenge and changes in healthcare.

ModuleMD believes that clinical quality is an intrinsic ingredient of the EHR solution and with Meaningful Use Stage2 certification, ModuleMD can now support interoperability standards in quality reporting in QRDA Category I and III formats; and offers more options for eligible professionals (EP's) who can now choose from 17 CQMs and submit reports electronically to CMS. ModuleMD’s commitment to CQMs has always been to go beyond the capability of providing for the minimum 9 required by CMS, covering at least 3 of the National Quality Strategy Domains.

ModuleMD had embraced interoperability as its fundamental strategy in delivering solutions; and with Meaningful Use Stage 2 certification, this has advanced even further. The EHR can send as well as receive key structured and coded data using standard vocabulary set in CCDA, CCD, CCR and Blue Button formats. Looking beyond the certification, ModuleMD has been testing its interoperability with hospital systems, HIEs, Labs and CDS/Education resource repositories, including the ability to successfully interoperate with Microsoft Healthvault.

This Complete EHR is 2014 Edition compliant and has been certified by an ONC – ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or a guarantee the receipt of incentive payments.
